Welcome to JandJ Alpacas

We live in a small village near the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire border and close to the A1 & A17.

Nine years ago in 2005 we took our first steps into alpaca farming. We, like many farmers, were looking for something to diversify into - something that both ourselves and our children would find interesting and enjoy and we have really found that.

On the first day of the school holidays, 4 beautiful huacaya alpaca females, Mississippi Moonlight, Luminaria, Coco Chanel and Skylark were delivered, one each. The JandJ Alpaca herd was born using the children's initials.

Alpacas are addictive and within a year we decided to specialise in coloured alpacas and bought 8 black pregnant females.

Nine years later we now have 87 beautiful alpacas, all colours, all ages ranging from Vermillion, our female herd leader at 17 years old, to our baby girl, Ness who is not yet 2 months old.
